About
Hello and welcome,
Christine Brudnicki has been fortunate to provide psychotherapy to individuals and families since 1992. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT). She is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and holds certificates in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction for Teens and Christian Counseling.
Christine received her Master of Science Degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1992 and has been practicing psychotherapy since then. She has graduated from the Kripalu School of Integrative Yoga Therapy and is a professional Yoga Therapist and a Certified Yoga Therapist through the International Association of Yoga Therapists.
Christine’s psychotherapy practice continues to evolve along with her areas of interest, personal and professional development and growth. She has a passion for joining her clients at whatever point they are in their journey and walking with them toward health and wellbeing. Christine takes great care to provide an inviting and supportive environment and to meet her clients with compassion and acceptance. It is her goal that her clients feel seen, heard, supported and safe. She strives to create a therapeutic alliance based on respect, allowing her clients to be fully present with themselves.
Christine does not believe it is the therapist’s job to “fix” the client, but to help the client discover their own inner resources, accessing them to achieve greater self-awareness and ability to manage life’s experiences in a meaningful and productive way. She finds great joy in combining her varied educational experiences and interests to provide a customized approach to helping her clients meet their goals.
When she is not working Christine enjoys spending time in the outdoors, reading, doing yoga, and relaxing with her family.
